The driving tests application is similar to the one from the DMV knowledge test. You will also find here tests for cars, motorcycles and cdl permit, that contain a series of random questions from the selected category, which must be solved in proportion to 80%, just like in the official South Carolina knowledge exam.
For CAR permit, You will have to answer at least 24 questions correctly to pass the exam, so you can get a maximum of 6 questions wrong. Study under identical conditions to those from the official driving test, so you will be more relaxed and emotionless when you are in the exam room.
The wrong questions are fallowed by clear and logical explanations, which you can see at the end of each SC permit test. An average of 2 hours a day spent here will guarantee your success in the exam and, more than that, it will make you a perfect driver, who knows the traffic rules and the road legislation. Success!
In South Carolina, getting a driver’s license follows a similar process to other states but has some differences. For teens, there’s a graduated driver’s licensing (GDL) system, which means you start with a beginner’s permit at age 15. You need to hold it for at least 180 days and complete 40 hours of supervised driving, including 10 hours at night, before moving on to a restricted license.
One unique aspect is that South Carolina allows 15-year-olds with a beginner’s permit to drive from 6 a.m. to midnight if they’re with a licensed driver who is at least 21. After age 16, you can drive alone during daylight hours but need an adult with you at night until you get your full, unrestricted license at 17.
South Carolina also puts a strong focus on ensuring young drivers get plenty of night driving experience, which isn’t always a requirement in other states.
